Of course, this should not be the outcome. Trump's claim is meritless, and a ruling in his favor would be unprecedented. Knowing this, the courts will just run out the clock instead, resting on the "thorny" immunity considerations that are completely fabricated.

I agree. It is Cannon’s go-to for trump (she REALLY believes she will sit in the court). Allow as much delay as possible to ensure he gets his immunity. I imagine either the Dem butter knives morph into war cries—or he will get away with hiding the report.

Sadly you may be right. Judge Cannon yet again is delaying a process that she shouldn’t have any control over. The bold move is to release this report and it. Let them howl. They already will anyway. The DOJ and SC has nothing to lose.
