Funny how the people demanding the release of Lucy Connolly are the same ones who were demanding that peaceful climate protestors be thrown in jail for years.

These are our own version of Trump’s moronic MAGA redcaps. They rail against him being convicted of rape and accused of inciting rebellion yet applaud his pardoning of killers and insurrectionists.
Incitement is hardly expressing a sentiment. As for obstructing free movement, some of the protestors serving very long sentences were convicted on spurious grounds of allegedly plotting such actions not actually doing so. I find your reasoning flawed.
What those ratbag obstructionist Just Stop Oil protesters did to get arrested varied; but it was neither expression of sentiment nor incitement, so one may have completely different views on their treatment (in either direction) without being in any way inconsistent.
This is so regardless of whose "side" anyone is on. I don't want people who say nasty things locked up for doing so, even if they're on the opposing side. I do want vandals and harassers locked up, even if they're on my side
Lucy's heat-of-the-moment expressions are unbecoming, of course; but what's truly chilling about reading that laid out sequentially (and I hadn't expected to be quite so chilled) is that the law is investigating this AT ALL. It would be comic if it weren't so coldly Orwellian
To forestall a kind of response I get all the time: I'm not questioning that the court made the right call given the law. Maybe it did, maybe it didn't: I wouldn't know...
What I'm saying is that charging Lucy for this, fining her so much as a penny, let alone locking her up, is obscene, monstrous.
Inability to distinguish between tweeting stuff you disagree with, vs causing criminal damage, fairly typical of the hard-of-thinking types prevalent in the virtue-signalling classes.

Connolly should not be in prison merely for expressing a sentiment. Mere speech should not incur a prison sentence.
Imprisoning people who actually DO something anti-social: vandalising art, obstructing others' freedom of movement, etc. is fully justifiable...

She is your quintessential racist and bigot; she is part of that group of people who believe that her English passport means that she is superior
She is not
Again, and again and ....
