At 9:00 AM this morning the entire Pentagon got an email inviting them to a “Christian prayer and worship service” from the Office of the Secretary of Defense. A Cabinet member directly violating the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.

Not being out of place or not included isn’t a great defense.

I've got no problem with prayer; but, when the boss is promoting a specific religion, that seems not ok. Usually when those in positions of power place those under them in situations they may feel compelled to participate in due to social or corporal consequences, it's viewed as unethical no?

I understand there are chaplains but is it still constitutional to specifically say it will be Christian prayer rather than just generic "prayers"? Also what type of Christian prayers will they use?That itself is complex with how many denominations there are and their views.
