What's more, after the war Stalin kept half of Europe for the Russian empire, which only dissolved in the 90s and Putin is currently trying to re-establish

Found any evidence that FDR sent Roper to that convention in 1939 to speak in favor of Nazism, yet?
I'm genuinely interested in learning more about American history on this issue

All I can find is a reference to a relative of Roper, whose association with the Bund was supporting anti-Nazi German Americans
But always happy to be educated if you have evidence Roper spoke in favor of Nazism, and with FDR's encouragement
