They're going to kill Libby and all your other library book reading apps, programs funded by Congress which the administration (and certainly not Elon or his teen Nazi psychopath goons) has no power to shut down.
Maybe a day to call all your reps again and to demand action

Fuckdammit.
Would these assholes PLEASE stop making piracy the most important tool media preservation? I would REALLY rather people just get paid what they deserve for their work.
I really don’t appreciate it
I'm a nasty fuck because you're making my job harder and you don't care.
I guess I'm wondering how the Trump administration can kill an app created and sold to libraries by a private company?
(I'm not saying they can't but I'm curious as to how, partly because the Toronto Public Library (my public library) uses Libby too).
When I saw, "they're going to kill Libby" I took it more directly, as in killing the app outright.
This is going to be terrible but, for example (I'm a Torontonian), the Trump administration can't cut off the funding that TPL and U of T pay OverDrive because the U.S. hasn't invaded us.
Yet.
I've been doing this for 20 years, it's always been under attack. Remember that 2008 recession we had? Libraries still haven't recovered from that. So like, yeah, we know. But you don't need to make things up to get that point across.
