The rest of the game up to that point was real good though and it still feels like it serves its purpose just as well today of being a good introduction to RPGs for people who arent typically into the genre, we're left wanting to branch out and try more of them......

We kind of initially wanted to play the rest of the series but we may wait a while and play some other stuff first because we really are burnt out after that final area we dont even want to Look at A Mario for a while

The most important thing this game did was teach us how we can play longer games. That is, playing them on a tiny handheld we can flick out and play for 5 minutes whenever we're taking a break from drawing or whatever..... 18 hours just kind of breezed by like nothing that way

This game wastes so much of your time in dumb ways and the parry mechanic becomes such an annoyance thats only really mitigated when you become strong enough to just plow through everything without caring anymore in the end game. Anyways we 100%ed it for some reason. sams fought the metoid

mild powerup spoilers for those who care about gameplay spoilers in the 3ds metroid 2 remake but the spider boost/powerbomb cannon is funny and we'd love to see it return in a better game
