Just watched the video, I think you were really sweet talking to the lady, but yeah, confroting a problem is not easy to anyone. Hope the old lady is fine and that casino learned a lesson.

I thought your reaction was fairly reasonable considering the obscene situation. Addiction can lead to a person not realising that they've been gambling an unhealthy amount, and it should be on the casino to intervene. You were right to call them out for their inaction

I was just as perturbed as you were at our gambling priorities in the states. It's shameful, the lack of empathy these massive casinos have. It's a tough situation, though, because you can't save someone from themselves, but if the staff had half of your decency, they would have checked on her.
