I began by pointing at the variety of different, seemingly unrelated library censorship attempts; and took a deep dive into the financial returns of several "anti porn" groups, specifically National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE) or Fight the New Drug (FTND).

the American Library Association is longstanding and frequent target of NCOSE specifically. there was also a ongoing anti-porn legislative effort that has now come into effect--in 16 states (at the time) which passed or proposed bills declaring pornography a “public health crisis”

I identified 3 main groups that have a sort of ongoing alliance: anti-pornography feminists, internet activist “Fapstronauts,” and religious morality groups. It's also an international effort
