I studied Latin for 6 years and always loved “Dum Spiro Spero.” While I breathe, I hope. When I graduated law school, my three best friends from elementary school gave me a tie clip with it engraved on it. So, this felt like the right tenure gift to myself. A reminder of who I am and to keep faith.
