Apparently way back in the day they would quarantine the entire house and put a sign on the door...they had different coloured signs for measles, scarlet fever, whooping cough etc. 🤔

It's hardly a cheap way, and it puts the cost on the municipal government versus the provincial. But it would be helpful in keeping them out of the ER until they get more serious. Remember you're dealing mostly with the unvaccinated, trying to keep them isolated. The whole family is going to have it

The people with measles who need hospital support are very very sick. We need to prevent only a few ICU bed days to save money.

One issue is seeing money we don't spend. The second is the funding for prevention and reaction are different funders. It's a #WickedProblem

If they are unvaccinated by choice then let them go to the back of the line. If that sounds mean, it’s meant to be. I’m tired of Covid convoy and anti-vaxxers making a misery of our society and demanding ICU resources when they get sick. Let them pray to their gods for help.

Home visits are not about speed or queue jumping. Home visits for those suspected of having would stop the other people in waiting rooms from catching measles.

Measles is a very contagious disease. The virus can remain alive for hours after the infected person leaves a room.
