Cool! You’ve got me beaten Dave. I wasn’t even born yet. Born in 1955. My earliest memories of the #Habs was listening a broadcast on the radio with the #Habs needing to score 5 goals to break a tie to make the playoffs and pulling the goalie in the middle of the 2nd period in the 69-70 season.

Yup. I would listen to René LeCavalier in french and Danny Gallivan in English calling those games. They were so good at it that you could almost see the game through the radio.

My favourite Habs memory is being able to watch all 82 regular season games with pretty much a basic cable subscription. Now, in Alberta, no matter how much I'm willing to pay, I can't get all the games, legally.

We’ve been fortunate in eastern Canada in the #Habs viewing region that we can see all the games, although we have to have subscriptions to RDS and TVA. Don’t know how it’s going to work out with the new TV contract Rogers just signed with the NHL.

Born into a French-Canadian family when there were only 6 teams. Sat nights with cousins watching the games. A dad would make a pool based on time of the most recent goal and all the kids played. It was how they kept us running to the LR to tell them the score 😂. Made me a Habs fan - 10 cups.

I started playing hockey at 5 so I knew I was a #Habs fan so that’s back in 71.They used to win all the time but it’s the first time that I’ve seen a rebuild where there’s a large majority of young guys that are going to be even better next year, I have never seen that. I’m super excited

Yep for sure. The only other time that I think they had anything like this was Roy rookie year. I believe there were 6 of them that came in that year. Roy, Dahlin,Lemieux, Richer, Momesso? Can’t remember them all 😂. Getting old 🤪

I moved to Montreal, from Hong Kong, in Aug 1975; I'd never seen hockey. My Dad took me to my 1st game that year (vs Leas in Nov '75). Hooked from that 1st game, been a Habs fan ever since. I haven't felt this good about the Habs since Mario-gate, including the 2021 edition. We've suffered too long.

I liked KK as well when we drafted him. We needed a center, but didn’t turn out good. Brady would have been the choice, although Hughes would have been good as well.

I vaguely remember 1986 - was so mad at my parents for not letting me miss school to attend a family party with the team and their family. ‘93 was insane was downtown at O’Blitz to watch the games.
