End of Disc 1 is so peak. FF9 is extremely backloaded for me. Great moments throughout but everything i love about it happens at the end.

It really does. I appreciate how they made it a consequence in the gameplay but in practice it was very annoying.

This is the game that me Nope out of trophy hunting for a long time. I even did the Vivi skipping rope at the start but ended up quitting later on.

I used the automatic jumping exploit to get that one. There are a few others that are just terrible but I dont wanna burn myself out cause as much as I love 9 there are some parts I just dont.

Yeah, for sure, take your time.

It's wild how 9's trophies are so much harder than some other Final Fantasy games. I've gotten the platinums for 7, 8, 12 and 13 without too much stress. But 9's trophies were clearly chosen by a masochist! 😅

Weirdly enough the Excalibur 2 I think is the least masochistic one cause I did it on PS1 in my teens but even that one asks so much of the player.

I feel your pain.

I wanted badly to get 100% on this wonderful yet fucking bastard of a game.

I missed 1 ATE.. JUST ONE.

I refuse to play through AGAIN to do it.

The ATE is near the end of the game, and it makes it worse.

Im following a guide for that and have multiple saves before attempting strings of them. The ones in Treno were fucking annoying.
