I was the same. After seeing the fjrst MRI things started making sense. Weird things that I blamed on getting older or other issues. Then you read about all the different symptoms and it’s like Ohhhh k. I have that and that and that etc.

Not a death sentence. Just takes some adjustments. 🫂

Thank you so much. I'm still at the crying & mad stage. I'm not sure if it's normal, but I'm also wanting to tell off every person whose treated me like a lazy bum all these years & say a fat "I told you so" abt not faking weakness & exhaustion. I used to be so active & social & still miss running.

I didn't even realize that part of my brain was grasping on to the hope that I didn't read the results correctly and the doctor was going to call and offer a magic pill to correct everything so I could have a life and be able to work again. This is just crappy.

Cry, rage, do whatever you need (I personally became numb, tried to ignore it - not wise 😏)

And when you feel you can face it, get on the most effective DMT available to you. Having that plan of action helps.

There are many for MS. Your Neuro should discuss the options with you soon - studies show the sooner you’re on an effective DMT, the more brain health is preserved

It can be overwhelming at the moment. You can ring an MS charity with a helpline to discuss

I go in next Thursday for all over nerve conduction and they're supposed to let me know plan of treatment. I've been taking lots of anti-inflammatory supplements and alpha lipoic acid for years because my feet went numb after my 1st time with covid. The numbness moved up to my knees recently.
