There should be some common sense applied however. There are cases where male rapists have claimed to be women so they can get into female prisons and continue raping. I think to be treated like a woman should require some demonstration of transitioning. Opportunists should be rejected.

I guess the problem is that one insisted that anyone can define their gender without any requirements or proof one open the gates for such abuse. I think such rules need to be pragmatic so that legal consideration as woman depends on context.

It may offend some trans activists that a transwoman cannot be treated exactly the same as a biological woman, but here we must simply deal with the world as it is rather than how we wish it was. Being born into the "wrong" body create practical obstacles society cannot always solve easily.

I’m a 60 yr old active duty vet & have given birth 3x. If I have to take a pee , I don’t care what the door says. I’ll do it by a tree. Any woman that has to be enshrined in a cubby has no life experience, you aren’t moving in. Also, no one’s plumbing is that impressive.
