When I was a kid (and to this day) my father extolled the grease-cutting power of Dawn. Folks, that soap can do anything.

If your pepperball-contaminated items can go in the washing machine, use the cold cycle with a couple tablespoons of Dawn dish soap (don't over-suds it). Do it twice.

Don't use hot, it opens the fabric fibers and "cooks" the oils into your clothes. Let the soap do its job breaking down the PAVA. 2/
