It’s true. Just a fair warning on the east coast, people are way more cold and don’t do the small talk. At least that was my experience, NYC/NJ etc

Yep, I’m going to spend 3 weeks in NYC and I’m expecting (and won’t be bothered by) a fair bit of rudeness (I come from the least-cough country on earth). People in the Midwest are super nice & polite and vote MAGA, go figure ay
