The feeling of the lack of panic and wandering thoughts the first few times I hit a low after lamotrigine made me cry because it was such a stark positive difference in how I could handle the situation. That shit is magical

Schitzo affective bipolar 1 with AuDHD I am on amitriptyline and Wellbutrin. So far it has been the best combo. Just minor adjustments over the last few years. Finding the right meds definitely make a huge difference

I had to fight for a bipolar diagnosis and treatment but it was absolutely worth it. It can be tempting to think you have to live with it and to some extent you do, but this is a hundred times better.

I am on this and I tend to be a crier, like I am moved by things and I cry but since I switched to this med about five months ago, I have been constantly moved to tears and it’s embarrassing. I don’t know if it has to do with the meds?

It’s hard to watch movies or talk about things I love or am emotional about even without starting to cry. I’m a teacher and I cried every period reading a damn book I’ve literally read 100s of times.

Can't say I have. I cry a bit more than I used to maybe but that's probably just increased and more effective estrogen dose. Maybe?
