Where are you getting your information about $0 on turbo for creators? Is it you? Your friend? Because I can say that running a channel of my size with a monthly active viewership of 30-40 people, that’s not true at all. Jan - Mar 25 I’ve received $15-$20 for turbo alone, for each month.

Turbo only pays if the channel is watched and it's a lot less then a personal sub. For example, I sub channels and can't always watch or rarely walk due to schedules.. they still get paid. If I had turbo they would make nothing if I can't watch them. The cut is a lot lower for turbo payments.

That’s not the issue at hand then is it. Turbo works as intended & does pay the creator. You however simply lack the time to support the creator for it to be effective for you. 3 mins of ads =/= 3 mins prerolls. 3 min ads disables prerolls thus allowing you to return/refresh the tab without them

I don't have a huge issue with ads in general, but pre-roll ads are simply the worse thing ever. And if the page gets refreshed or closed out accidently then returning usually results in another round of pre-rolls. Have ads, that's fine, but just not pre-rolls.

Sometimes I like to check out creators I've not seen before and might hop around and see what folks are about, but when I see 3 mins of pre-rolls, I'll close it and move on to someone else. Pre-rolls put people off, I'm not alone in this.

You can have 3 mins of prerolls? Wait what? How? I didn’t even know that was possible. I was sincerely under the assumption you were mixing up the terms pre-rolls and just ads. So now I’m curious, how would you adjust to have more pre-rolls because 3 mins of ads per hour disables pre-rolls normally

This is what I can see. And unless I’m missing something under a secret menu, I can’t physically see where you would adjust “pre-rolls”.

I pause and make myself take those 3 mins to go and pee, stretch my legs and go to the kitchen to grab a drink, time which in retrospect isn’t sufficient because I need more time than that. I think that time spared for self care is warranted.
