Is there any better scene in film history that succinctly encapsulates a film’s premise-narrative in just a matter of seconds than this one in SUNSET BLVD? What makes it even more astonishing is that it, like Norma Desmond’s films, is silent.

Rob! So glad you finally saw it. If you’d like to delve further into all-things SUNSET BLVD, I highly recommend “Close-Up on Sunset Boulevard” By Sam Staggs. Enjoyed it much more listening to it on Audible than I did reading the book.
