Many second and third world countries do not have the budget or access to this level of complete expertise regarding vaccines and greater health outcomes.

They rely on this group to put forth the best science so they can be informed and make decisions for their (not shit hole) countries.

These countries use these recommendations to direct there small working budgets for keeping their population alive and healthy. Losing these expertise leaves not only us in the dark but forces them to get the info they need from other sources.
