I heard that douyin isn’t in the US app stores. I also heard that xiaohongshu compares to Pinterest while douyin is more comparable to TikTok. I made one, but I haven’t thoroughly checked it out yet. Even if you select English, most is in traditional Chinese, I needed a break from translating 😂

Douyin is literally China's tiktok; XiaoHongShu also seems to be a lifestyle app, although the CEO posted on Red Note welcoming in people and advising people really used their platform for lifestyle recommendations like what restaurants were good. He advocating for free speech on platforms too
