Honestly it depends on what injuries we have at the time. December is a time when injuries and suspensions can quickly pile up, so hopefully we have a fully fit squad to pick from. Maybe Marco will look to ease their loss by giving others more minutes ahead of time.

These are African Nations Championship games, not Africa Cup of Nations. Bassey & Iwobi will not be selected for these as the competition is for players playing in their national league competitions.

I think that’s actually for the African Nations Championship, which is only for players who play in their country’s own domestic league.

So this shouldn’t affect us and they should both be available through December
