Close the gap to 4 and our tails will be up, despite their game in hand. Plus I don’t love playing at Fulham with a 10 point gap and Monaco on the horizon. I agree, this helps.

I also like that the Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park will be moving to later in the season, when there is more pressure on Liverpool to win. That ground is always difficult for them. If we’ve considerably closed the gap, it will be an immense fixture for them.

It’ll probably be a midweek night game instead of a 12:30 Saturday start too. Should be a much more lively home crowd.
