He's right. States should start taking care of themselves and not all of politicians in Washington DC. Federal taxes should end. California should stop having to carry every state below the Mason Dixon line with their taxes, while being told nobody in Washington will help them anymore for starters.

I think a good place to start would be the collection of import duties and taxes at any state and city regulated ports. Holding the Fed tax collection on things like fuel and the "sin taxes"....start there and carry on.
