This is a concern for me. I have a not-common last name and have that as my username on SO MANY platforms (Google/Hotmail/FB/Yahoo)...but on here I'm using the (Armenian) domain that I own because...it's cool. Now wondering if the invite code I have offered my daughters should be used to reserve.

I suppose but I feel like every account should retain their bsky as their OG name ya know. Like what if you forget to renew your domain? Does your bsky account go up in smoke? So many unanswered questions
