Given that I stopped paying attention after the Vikings went up 11, please accept this Lions fan's deepest sympathies and know that, Thursday, we'll try to make it quick and painless.
There was a brief moment in the UK when the Bears were the best team ever because their superbowl win in the mid 80s was the first time it was shown on UK TV. William Perry etc.
They were amazing with The Fridge being the most American thing any of us had ever seen. A fat athlete? Incredible. Clearly got your parents excited in preseason.
As a Lions fan, I'm THRILLED. As a football fan, that was.... not great execution or communication from a coach at the end. Yikes. My condolences, friend.
haha so brutal. as a giants fan it made me feel better about how much we suck this year. that was rough and weird. Sad too cuz Williams had a pretty great game mostly.
I was listening the end of that game, just baffled. Why not a hurry up? Why didn't you call the TO? Like... both Eberflus and Williams just caught napping.
Ok so I’m not a football person and please don’t make fun. I genuinely want to learn. I see everyone yelling that the Bears should have called a time out. Why should they have done that? And what could have happened if they did?
before that wtf game-end, one-sided officiating: QB knees destroyed on a sidelines tackle, de-helmeting by lions but not bears, but oh here’s a penalty for disrespecting official a bear is protesting. And pass interference, and a stiff-arm tackle that catches a shoulder pad!!??

But still I'd be lying if I said it wasn't easy

Sigh.

Sorry. Arrogance for a Lions fan is a totally new concept. Forgive us if we overstep.
