It’s absolutely wretched that such massive talents go relatively unheralded, except for those who know. I recall decades ago Alan Moore saying something along the lines of how incredible it was that these beautiful written stories with art that should appear in galleries were sold for pennies.

With Peter David it’s not just that he wrote great and inspirational runs but he was-until recently-prolific. But with all the work he pumped out he still relying on crowd funding in the end just to help with crushing medical debt.

We need to do better.
