I remember when he was goofing around with the guys from Whose Line is it Anyway? And Joe made up a story about a kid with brainworms. I don't remember the Forrest Gumpesque part where the boy gets a cabinet position while seeking to destroy his father's legacy, but it's been a minute.

Walsh has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2 times, in 1998 & the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2001, both with the Eagles. Fun fact: Joe Walsh sold a 1959 Sunburst Gibson Les Paul to Jimmy Page in 1969, now known as Page's "Number 1."

Rocky Mountain Way. Walsh lived in Columbus OH as a kid. Later he went to Kent State in NE Ohio. "In 2022, the City of Columbus and the Columbus Music Commission named a street after Walsh at the intersection of Nationwide Boulevard and North Front Street. The street is now a fast lane. "

James Gang's first, Yer Album, is an overlooked treasure.

Funk 48 SLAYS Funk 49. Also, "Collage" and "Stop" are incredible songs. The string arrangement on Collage is lush and gorgeous.

And the production!?! This album was recorded in 1969, but it sounds like it was made yesterday.
