Agreed, but “overuse” is an understatement of what is happening now… we’re now at “catastrophic” erosion of democratic process… and a “seizure of power.”

The overuse of executive orders reflects a systemic erosion of democratic process. Unilateral decrees replace legislative debate and undermine the balance of powers at the heart of constitutional governance.
