Yes, exactly; but the point of my post was “Do not be deceived by honeyed words.” As there was someone, who I’ve now blocked, essentially going: “This ai doesn’t scrape your art, it doesn’t do x or y! It’s safe for you to send your art to their service. ☺️ Please trust this information bro…”

And besides, with tools like Nightshade, you can poison databases and help keep your art safe. So while nothing has changed in regards to the argument of ‘Save as’ (Even I stated that in my response, don’t worry I know what you’re saying) there are still measures you can take to protect your art.

Nightshade and Glaze only work if you don't have the two series of graphics card that are specifically incompatible with it, which I'm unfortunate enough to have. I tried contacting them about webglaze, but their DMs are sealed shut and they haven't responded to my email yet.

the only alternative is webglaze at the moment, but as i said, i couldn't dm them and although i emailed them, i havent heard back from them yet. they prefer social media dms for webglaze, but, ehh, like i said, i wasnt able to dm them here.

Yeah, I do not necessarily trust their "Oh we don't store it or train from it" either, just like I wouldn't trust McDonald's saying "Our food is healthy. Trust us". I'm all for artists using whatever tools are available to help fight back against AI.

Unfortunately, I think at this point using such things to poison the art should be second nature. An instinctual habit. Sadly, unless they are policing who is on their servers... any posting of their art anywhere is a vulnerability of a bad actor obtaining it and giving it to an AI database. 😞
