It really is just odd (but deeply predictable) for someone to watch Sinners and then immediately go "what about this old white guy's vampire novel that's kind of ass" as a recommendation.

Like I haven't seen Sinners but if I was gonna rec an unhinged read afterwards I'd rec Fledgling ☺️
