This is why I feel slightly ok with things. He can't lead. People always end up hating him. He's not some great dictator. He's a senile bully with the mind of a child. Respectfully, there's little reason to feel "slightly OK" about this monster being back in the White House. Barring a major political backlash (i.e., the Democrats winning Congress back by a massive number) or some incredible turn of events, it's going to be a horrible four years.

We have to rely on the institutions to do their job and for Congress to to it’s job…he can do certain things by executive order but not everything. The theory of the unitary executive is what he thinks allows him unlimited power…that will be tested

They're all actively defying him. He's been lobbying the Republicans in Congress for four years, Elon too and they havent done anything he's asked, even in the past few weeks. Then there's the federal judges. They have almost complete control over him, and Biden is appointing more and more.

Trump is, and has always been, a ludicrous clown. Which is why the fact that Democrats lost to him, again, is even more ridiculous. The focus needs to move away from Trump’s chaos and toward building something that can defeat him.
