fwiw all the examples besides Mario Kart are just Switch 1 games + upgrade packs. You can game the system by buying Switch 1 copies through store sales like Woot, or used
i dont think it bodes well that there are multiple 80 dollar games and the only new first party switch 2 game w a price on it so far is 80 like i think this is gonna be the trend
nintendo is a company for the 1% now and if we want this to change we need a very brave luigi fan (that is, luigi super mario of course) to do something about it
technically they did say that people already owning those switch one game could transfer them to the switch 2 and get an upgrade for cheaper (probably 20$)
Still way too much priced IMO because that's a 100$ game here in Canada
I don't know how much of a fuck I give about them remastering a 3DS game (probably not at all) but I'm surprised they were willing to part with it at the original game's price point instead of a cheeky 60
why the fuck is forgotten land s2 edition 80 dollars? this is a three year old game with a dlc pack. how is this reasonably worth 30 dollars more- even more concerning is totk getting 10-20 dollars more expensive for an uncapped framerate and cleaner rendering

Still sucks ass but at least there's workarounds
It's still cracked that MK World is $80 physical though, even if it's only $50 by way of the bundle
On its face yeah it only just stings a little less. It still sucks
