It's a mistake to think that only "vibe coders" use it.
"Most people don't" and "no one can" are two very different things.
Echoing another comment, "what most people do" is not the same thing as what can be done with something.
The hours? Yes, still there. Understanding the language, data structures, and algorithms? Yes, that too. Even have a degree.
Being able to do more in the same amount of time means getting paid more. You don't need to care about shareholder value to benefit.
