Trump is abandoning his base. Does anyone else see this as both no surprise, and a sign of things to come? 'Struck by disaster? No help for you!' And that won't be the worst of it. I know, FAFO. But it continues to astonish me that so many people (~77M) voted for this and couldn't see it coming.
