I just finished a thousand piece puzzle. It took time , patience, and frustration. Build a framework, and piece by piece create the whole. You’ve introduced a bit of framework for your mom. She’s going to be adding more pieces along the way. Maybe she’ll affect other Trumpsters!

She sounds a little like my parents. My mother was so sure that politicians were scrupulously doing what constituents wanted because they knew we'd vote them out otherwise. She wouldn't have known what to make of this, but I think she would have opposed it eventually.
