The angularity reminds me of old videogames, when the "texture" is already fine, but the number of surfaces isn't.

it looks less angular when seen at, well, an angle. i dont hate the angularness of it but i think subsequent ones will be a bit rounder

Love that lighting effect! if you get some of the luminous pigment (I used one of LIT's ones) you can get epic effects on the lava. Here's my snow terrain with glow in the dark pigment.

Yep, works like any other glow in dark paint so shows up best in lower light conditions.
This stuff is invisible under normal lighting so after I had finished painting, washed my hands, and went to bed I found all the spots I'd missed XD
