If your job is at all creative I implore you not to take out your phone when your restaurant date goes to the restroom, or you're waiting for an elevator, or you're riding on the subway, etc., etc. Let yourself be bored. Boredom is important. Boredom fuels creativity. I remind myself of this daily.
