Real talk: the evaporation of disposable income combined with travel warnings will be a two pronged attack on the tourist industry
- We'll see tourist railways & museums run out of money and close
-Historic preservation will grind to a halt as resources become too expensive
-no time to volunteer

I've watched so many operations fall apart/ disappear when I had the time to visit them, thinking "Oh, I'll go next year..." And then was never able to return.
Apparently a handful exist in Australia and/or New Zealand, but IDK the details.
Additional fun fact, it's also the society's logo
Tell the volunteers how much you appreciate their work, drop a $20 in the donation box and hope that they'll survive.
Be present, enjoy it, drink it all in when you're there. Make good memories because you may never return.
Your message is still important!
