Now here's the rub. Those requirements *have ray tracing enabled by default". The "full ray tracing" requirements are for Path Tracing, the rest is just normal RT. The game requires an RT compatible card to run.
All our GPUs are going to fucking explode.
RT cards have been a thing since the rtx 2000 series and unless you're running an rdna1 or pascal card more powerful than a gtx 1080 I doubt you could run this anyway.
I'm using a 4070 mobile if that means anything. All that's changed is that people have to upgrade from their 1080 after around 10 years of using them. Bit of a shame, but the main focus was that RT was required for the bare minimum version, which might be a bit taxing on anyone's hardware.
According to the wikipedia page for both Indiana Jones and idTech 7, the game is using idTech 7. Afaik this marks the second idTech 7 game generally after Doom Eternal.
I have mild concerns about the game given the high specs requirements, just generally bad vibes from other games with high specs in the past, but if it nails the landing we might have a very neat tech demonstration on our hands... and maybe a good game too i guess, idk..

Dragon Age The Veilguard showed that you don't need all that much to make gorgeous scenarios, characters and cutscenes.
Given that the game is going to make extensive use of Hardware Ray/Path Tracing these requirements seem pretty reasonable.
