you start out in 1972 going "left join left join left join". but by 1996 you can't say - hurts you, backfires. so you say stuff like, uh, "index-match" and you're getting so abstract. before you know it the ba is talking about pivot tables
and this was always how it should’ve been treated - another little tool in people’s toolboxes, rather than “the robots are gonna eat us”
