My understanding is that other countries tax income in the billions at 40% or more. I don't see why we could not do the same...and make it retroactive for those who have been scheming their way out of paying the taxes they do owe.
How about this? Taxed a billion for every two billion you have?
Have 500 million?... you got 250. Have 100 million?... you 50.
If they did that to everyone above 100 million alone...it's solved.
That’s right. If we hadn’t started using Facebook when it came out, Zuckerberg would be a nobody. If we didn’t support Bezos by buying a lot of our stuff through Amazon, he wouldn’t be as filthy rich as he is. We made them!
Examples from a GAO Report:
In nine states, Walmart had about 14,500 employees on SNAP and 10,350 on Medicaid.
In Georgia, for instance, Walmart employed an estimated 3,959 workers on Medicaid, representing 2.1% of the state's total of non-elderly, non-disabled people on the program.
In 1953 and '54, Dwight Eisenhower's administration had a 91% upper tax rate. But he had engineered the defeat of the Nazis. That's what happens when you elect a FAFO President. And he was a Republican.

That’s still a whole lot of money.
Musk, however, can move back to South Africa or leave for Mars. Canada sure as hell doesn't want him.
