As they say, it cannot be done, they will not even figure it out based upon the last month, so we have an infinite loop of the same situation every month, is this not just ridiculous?

I mean, the 7th is after the 5th, so they could base it on that as part of the calculating period, and it would have been a problem once, but it's been ongoing for months.
Yeah, totally ridiculous, our rate of UC changes monthly, so it's hard to keep track of how much we are owed, we owe them some money, but have to return money monthly now with no guide of how much we should be having 🤷♂️
Work within a govt system myself and there's nothing worse than all the red tape and odious lazy tossers whose only aim is to make life difficult instead of solving problems.
They confirmed with us in January they would make a note and were aware, 4 months out of 6 now and nothing has changed, we could sit here and pocket this indefinitely, whilst they add to our debt repayable at 15%, you just have to ask when do they decide it is our fault and not a broken system.
It's a stupid system, and only counts the current period, ie that month, and they are rigid on the timing of figuring it out, even if they based it upon the month before, it would figure out over the year, instead we've been overpaid and owe them money, and now have to return overpaid money monthly.
