Caleb Williams was bad on Sunday but I don’t think we should weigh that game more than his first nine just because it was more recent, and arguably we should weigh it less because of how terrible everyone else on the team was

I think dumbing it down a little, just in the short term, would build a lot of confidence for him and maybe unleash more throws down field and a willingness to take risks. Hopefully Waldron was holding him back.
the coaching is bad, the schemes are bad, the o line is bad, and the team seems to have quit on the coaches. CW missed some throws you’d really expect a pro to make, but there are definitely factors that would affect timing and confidence. I’m willing to wait and see.
Caleb has the tools to be a star. And it's Chicago, where QB dreams go to die . Took a good coach (and a stop in LA) to get the best out of a guy like Baker. No need to worry for awhile.
Love that they thought sacking Waldron was the answer lol
