They do some of the hardest jobs in the country across the board because their status makes them more vulnerable to exploitation but also many of them were fleeing true horrors ( invariably precipitated by the USA in some way) and 14 hours a day washing dishes is nothing compared to that

This is fact. Not only restaurants, construction, meat plants, farm labour… Undocumented immigrants probably pay more taxes than billionaires. To rid the country of ppl who just want to work, get a better life, put their kids through school, there needs to be a better way to citizenship
