I hate linguistic drift. A group will come up with a useful term, it gets co-opted by another group who then complains that the term doesn't fit them right, they stretch the term so far beyond its original meaning that the original group now struggles to communicate what the term used to provide.

Linguistic drift reminds us our terms are not yet perfected.
It can apply to neurological disabilities, because, honestly, those are physical, too. You just have to be aware of the purpose of its meaning. Which you are.
But that's 𝗺𝘆 problem. Not theirs.
