antisemitism in to one resolution to trap Dems.

a bunch of safe seat dems appear to be voting w/ ICE here because ... of negative polarization from progressives? Lynch, Auchincloss, Moulton, Hoyer, Delaney, Krishnamoorthi (who is also running for US Senate, not that should make a difference in IL) Brown in OH, McCormick, Cuellar, Davis... etc

he's been a longstanding, albeit mild, critic of ICE (iirc he was pretty vocal about family separation in the first trump admin), his district has been getting bluer [went 52-46 for harris], wtf is he doing (cc @usspcrichardandson.bsky.social cause I don't get this at all)

I’m begging people to read the article.

No, they probably shouldn’t have voted for it, but the resolution was a ploy by republicans to make Dems look bad either way. This isn’t “Dems love ICE.”
