He got quite the spa treatment today: a nail trim; full exam; proper thorough brushing to get all his loose undercoat out; flea treatment; mats removed; butt shaved and cleaned... just hope we can figure out how to get his breathing better.
Still waiting on some tests. But he got some convenia, a thorough brushing and detangling, a nail trim, and a good exam. Right now, he's exploring the room we're in because he's still kind of loopy, and I guess more fearless. Very adorable.
Lungs sound good. Most of the sound seems to be upper respiratory (nasal). As for WHY, no one knows for sure, but his glands are a bit swollen on the side of his mouth with more tooth issues, so it's quite likely tooth related. Don't know for SURE, though.
Looks to have some tooth issues (as I expected) that may be exacerbating things. But that's going to mean a trip to the vet for surgery, so we'll see what other tests say in the meantime. He needs to lose some weight, though.
