No bird expert, but when I googled it, I learned that they prefer to leave the nest droppings near water, or shiny places, or to drop them off of edges.
Also, they like to take over existing nests, in my case I found a couple dead baby robins in my backyard that they presumably had removed so they could use the nest for their own eggs.
But to be fair, they are great for controlling grubs.
I just got the Merlin app. "What's that one?" "Sparrow". "What about that one?". "Sparrow". "That one sounds different". "It's the exact same Sparrow."
There's one in the very early morning that sounds like an electric motor that's about to break, but it stops as soon as the Sparrow wakes up.
Lol I had THREE DIFFERENT TYPES OF SPARROW today at the same time π house sparrow, song sparrow, chipping Sparrow
AND TWO KINDS OF FINCH common ass birds
That's like all that lives down here. Businesses have speakers playing other bird sounds to keep them away which just sounds like a different flavor of shit.
I have only ever seen them in Mexico and they are stealing everyone's lunch and hopping around and yelling and we just sat in the pool laughing the whole time I loved them they were like shiney goth gulls
I donβt like the grackles here because theyβre the most common bird in my yard and Iβm tired of them. grackles donβt look that cool or sound cool they just annoy me. iβd rather see an asshole blue jay or the cardinal couple or dumbass fat mourning doves lol
had a run in with an underrated loud bird last week β I had the door to the back porch open and there was a bird outside yelling so loud I had to go in with the Merlin app to see what it was and it was a little tufted titmouse lol

Thereβs a reason why a group of them is called an annoyance.
Let me show you what one of them did to my pool:
