Ok, so if I were a conspiracy theorist looking at the evidence as I've seen it, I would figure that GHW was a major player running the operation. Adamski was a grifter they hoaxed, Angelucci was psyop'd, Van Tassel I'd lean toward psyop'd despite previously thinking him in on it,
